Octopus shooting lasers in space (the game) was supposed to be only a school exercise to get familiar with the DirectX 9 software development kit. We had to create a hero, an enemy, shoot at them and testing collisions.
Meet Octopus Boy:
an enemy was hit!
you were hit!

I'm not a couch was also an exercise in order to learn HLSL along with DirectX 9 3D. The tasks were almost the same: hero, enemy, shooting, collisions, fog, textures. While looking for textures, I fell "in love" with the couch texture and the pink "disco ball". Since we had a box shooting yellow waves at spheres and being inspired by the "Chick'n'Swell" group of absurd humorists, I'm not a couch was born: a couch shooting springs at pink disco balls. But never forget that winning is an illusion...
